What data we process

This is a simple informational website. We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising technologies, and we do not require or offer user accounts.

We process personal data in only two situations:

  1. Server logs. When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of your request, the pages requested, the referring page, and your browser type. This is standard operation of any web server.
  2. E-mail contact. If you contact us at hello@anylume.com, we process the personal data you choose to include in your message (such as your name, e-mail address, company, and the content of your enquiry).

Why we process it and on what legal basis

We process server-log data to deliver the website securely and reliably, and to detect and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / GDPR) in operating a secure website.

We process contact data to respond to your enquiry and to conduct pre-contractual communication with prospective partners and customers. The legal basis is our legitimate interests in responding to correspondence addressed to us and, where your enquiry concerns entering into a contract, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

How long we keep it

Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for up to 12 months and then deleted. Contact correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up business relationship, and no longer than 6 years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law.

Who receives it

Our website is hosted by cyber_Folks S.A., Poland (EU), acting as our processor. Our e-mail is provided by cyber_Folks S.A., Poland (EU). We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Where a provider processes data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Details are available on request.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@anylume.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). If you are in the European Union, you may complain to the supervisory authority of your place of residence or work — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
